Returns and Equiture browband repairs

We understand that when you shop online, things can go wrong such as the wrong size being purchased, colour not being as you expected or perhaps you just changed your mind. 

For this reason we have the following returns policy.

You have up to 14 days from the day you received the items to post it back for an exchange or refund. Items must be returned as new with all labels still attached.

  • All Equiture Browbands and stock pins are made to order by hand here in the UK, for this reason we do not accept returns on these items. However, if the browband does not fit sufficiently, we do accept exchanges as long as a contribution towards return postage and the time taken to make a browband is given (£5 -£10 for UK customers, £18 - £25 for international). Exchanges must be for items of the same value, or higher and the difference will need to be paid. For international returns/exchanges please email: to be provided the correct information to write on the customs forms, any incorrect customs forms will be charged a fee from customs.   • Returns can be sent by any method but we ask that you send it tracked or get proof of postage. Return costs are covered by the buyer.

  • Please include a covering note in your package listing including your name, order number, contact information and whether you require a refund or exchange and what you would you like to exchange for. 
  • For exchanges, please forward a cheque payable to "Equiture limited" to cover the new outbound postage. This is £5 for small items less than 1kg and £6 for parcels more than 1kg. Generally all clothing and overreaches,  will be under 1kg. But boots, bandages or saddlepads will be 1kg or more. Please email with any queries relating to this. 
  • If you think you have received an incorrect or faulty item, please email us at with all information and images showing the fault or incorrect item. We will then advise the best way to proceed which usually involves forwarding the items to our returns department (address listed above). We regret that we cannot offer a replacement or refund until we have verified the fault with the manufacturer. 
  • We understand how frustrating having a faulty item can be so we endeavour to work as quickly as possible to rectify the situation. We will cover the return cost of postage, we can either offer collection by our courier (DHL) or we will refund any postage costs incurred by yourself. However, before posting the parcel back we ask that you confirm the cost price of postage with us first.
  • Refunds will always be returned to the original purchaser via the payment methods that they paid by to prevent fraud. 
  • We do not accept exchanges on sale items and any returns up to 14 days will receive a credit note of the same value.
  • Equiture (UK) Limited will have the final decision on any action taken with regard to this subject. We are unable to accept any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).
  • By placing your order you accept all of the above terms and conditions. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. 


Equiture browband repairs

All Preciosa browbands are sent with a small bag of 6mm spare crystals. We ask that you keep these crystals safe in the rare circumstance that a crystal falls out, they can be easily repaired with tweezers. A 'How to' card is also included in your parcel, please keep this safe to reference when replacing a crystal.

To care for your browband, we recommend cleaning with a toothbrush to get rid of any dirt from between the stones. Whilst doing this we also recommend that you check the prongs that keep the crystals in place to make sure they are all flush with the stone to prevent any more falling out. Do not use a toothbrush to clean pearl browbands, as this will scratch the coating. We recommend using a duster to wipe over the pearls.

If the browband needs further repair, each browband and stock pin comes with a 12 month guarantee. This guarantee is activated on the day of purchase. We will make the decision as to whether the item can be repaired or whether it needs to be replaced with a new item.

If you have had your browband for longer than the 12 month and it becomes damaged, we will still repair the browband for you but will ask for contribution towards return postage, this is just for replacement of 1-2 crystals (£5- £10 for UK and £10 - £20 for international). If the browband needs complete reconstruction, we may ask for a slightly higher payment to cover cost of replacement parts. For a quote, please email us pictures of the damage.
